A high balcony of Garonne in Roussillon, between Ariège and Catalonia, not to mention the Andorra and its Romanesque churches, Thierry Guinhut, walker, writer and photographer, seized the polymorphous beauty of the Pyrenees of the East, less prestigious probably than those located. Hundreds of lakes and needles, as in the National Park of Aigues Tours, alternate with the villages sometimes abandoned, the automas trails follow the snowy traces towards the ridges, from the glaciers of the aneeto, to the Mediterranean flanks of the Mediterranean Canigou, passing through the iconic Pedraforca which is a little the Ossau des Catalans ... thanks to thirty-two weeks of walking, both by its images and the richness of its evocative texts, Thierry Guinhut unfolds for us the contours , the colors and challenges of a mountainous chain with breathtaking shapes and sometimes never seen.
