This is a new opportunity to go on the trails of Wallonia to discover products and heritage of three trappier abbeys. Products of our terroir that the whole world envies us! Walloon Trappist beers are registered with the cultural and intangible heritage of UNESCO.
The S.A.T., (Trappist Traps) born in partnership with the Walloon Region, is the first thematic route of the Association des Trails de Great Hiking. Fully marked, it is feasible at your own pace, depending on your mood, your shape, the weather ... alone, with family, with friends, when you wish. The "Path of the Trappist Abbeys of Wallonia" connects the three Walloon abbeys where the Trappist beers are brewed. The route is divided into two sections, from Chimay to Rochefort (174 km) and Rochefort in Orval (116 km), a total of 290 km. The trail takes over the various marked sections (on GR) or (on gr de country) described in both directions.
