The Bigouden country corresponds to the southwestern Finistère, bordered east by the river of the Odet and the West by the ocean. He has been stretching from the shores of the Bay of Audierne until the heights of the Goyen Valley, to extend to the north by the country of Douarnenez. Its southeast coast very cut, and behind the reefs are sheltering the main fishing ports (Guilvinec) and beautiful sandy beaches. Further in the west, the hiker can surgeure the long expanses of the Bay of Audierne before going back, following the coast, towards the exceptional landscapes of Cape Sizun, starting with the famous rocks of the Pointe du Raz . Inside the country takes a little relief, climbing to woody valleys widened with streams. In Plogastel St-Germain, Plonéour-Lanvern, in Kerlaz or Tréméoc the country landscapes are well worth the coast. We are never far from one of the fifty small chapels in the region.
