A true immersion within the GR®10, this extraordinary hiking trail, among the most famous in France, crossing the Pyrenees from west to east.

This trail connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea over nearly 850 kilometers and more than 50,000 meters of elevation, crossing no less than five departments, rich in biodiversity, history, attractions and particularities (Basque mountain, peak of Midi d'Ossau, Gavarnie cirque, Canigou massif, forests of the Ariège Pyrenees, etc.).
The authors traveled the entire trail independently, over several seasons, sleeping in tents, cabins or lodges. The story of this adventure focuses on their experiences, their emotions and their feelings.
Portraits of Pyrenees, men and women connected in their own way to the trail, complete the story, to make it even more alive. History points and focuses of various natures are also addressed throughout the itinerary.
The route is broken down into four parts: Basque Country, Central Pyrenees, Ariège Pyrenees and Catalan Pyrenees. For each chapter, a practical sheet specifies the technical information (distance, positive and negative altitude differences) of the stages as well as the types of existing accommodation.
